Maryland State Trooper Fatally Shoots Man in Suicide Threat Standoff.

A man who called a crisis hotline threatening suicide was fatally shot by a Maryland State Police trooper after he pointed a dark object at them. The man had barricaded himself in his house and was under the influence of a substance. The case remains under investigation by the Independent Investigations Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General.
