Multiple Arrests Made in Northern California Infant Murder Cases

A 37-year-old father from Cameron Park, California, has been arrested and accused of murdering his 5 1/2-week-old baby, who died after being hospitalized for "numerous injuries." The suspect, Kevin Van Streefkerk, is not eligible for bail and faces five charges, including first-degree murder and assault of a child resulting in their death. Streefkerk works at the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services and was a former tennis coach at Mesa Verda High School. The alleged abuse happened on Father's Day, and the investigation is ongoing.
