Multiple Shootings Leave Several Injured in Toledo

Two people, including a child, were taken to the hospital after being shot in a west Toledo neighborhood. The shooter or shooters are believed to have escaped on foot and there are no suspects at this time. The incident occurred just days after Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz's State of the City address, in which he discussed progress made in combating gun violence in the city. Various groups have released action plans to tackle gun violence, including bringing back block watches and strengthening ties between police and neighborhoods.
