Oakley 7-year-old's death linked to blunt trauma, coroner says; three charged

The Hamilton County Coroner ruled that 7-year-old William Evans-Ellis died from blunt head trauma with numerous other injuries after being found bound and beaten in a closet in Oakley. Three people, including his mother Kaitlin Evans and her partners Kirby Rankin and Nessa Keane, are charged with murder and child endangerment as the investigation continues. Toxicology results are pending and investigators say the child may have died at least a day before discovery.
