Playground slides in Longmeadow, Mass. burned by acid, injuring children.

Two children suffered "burn-like injuries" after someone poured muriatic acid on three slides at a playground in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. The chemical was believed to have been stolen from the park's pool building, which had been broken into. Evidence was collected for forensic analysis and fingerprinting, and a specialty contractor was hired to clean the play space.
