Police recapture escaped Louisville inmate after 2 days on the run

Inmate Norman Wolfe, who escaped from a law enforcement vehicle in Louisville on Thursday, was arrested more than 48 hours later in Clifton after a short police pursuit. Wolfe had kicked out the back window of the vehicle and ran across Interstate 265 before kidnapping a couple and forcing them to drive him 10 miles away. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries related to his initial escape and will be taken back to Louisville Metro Corrections upon release.
