Stanford Employee Charged with False Rape Claims and Lying.

A Stanford University employee, Jennifer Ann Gries, has been charged with felony perjury for lying about being raped twice on campus last year. Gries first reported a false sexual attack in August and then went to Stanford Hospital in October for another rape examination. Both of Gries' sexual assault examination kits were analyzed quickly, and the lab results were not consistent with her story. Gries admitted to lying about the rapes during an interview with a District Attorney's Office investigator in January. She was charged with two felony counts of perjury and two misdemeanor counts of making a false crime report.
