Teen Allegedly Stabs Mother and Dogs, Citing Demonic Possession

A 16-year-old in Mishawaka, Indiana, is facing multiple felony charges, including attempted murder and animal torture, after allegedly stabbing his mother and two dogs. The teen believed his mother had a demon inside her and thought stabbing her was the right thing to do. The mother suffered 13 stab wounds and a collapsed lung but is in critical but stable condition. The dogs were treated and one is expected to survive, while the other has a 50/50 chance. The teen also injured two corrections officers after being booked into jail.
