The Tragic Timeline of 4-Year-Old Ariel Garcia's Disappearance and Murder

After 4-year-old Ariel Garcia's disappearance, his grandmother filed for guardianship due to his mother's violent and unpredictable behavior and history of substance abuse. Surveillance video showed the mother, Janet Garcia, parking a car of interest in Ridgefield, and she was later found at a rehabilitation center with blood splatters on her clothes. Janet was arrested on charges of murder and assault after claiming she left Ariel with a friend in Seattle, but his body was found off the side of Interstate 5 in Pierce County.
