Toddler injured by bullet shrapnel in Oakland robbery attempt

A toddler was injured by shrapnel from gunfire during an attempted armed robbery in Oakland. Two individuals, one armed with a firearm, approached the victim with a 15-month-old toddler in a stroller and demanded their belongings at gunpoint. The armed suspect discharged the firearm, causing shrapnel injuries to the child before fleeing. The child is currently in stable condition. Oakland police are searching for the suspects and asking anyone with information to contact them.
