University Presidents from Harvard, Penn, and MIT to Address Antisemitism in Congressional Testimony

Harvard President Claudine Gay, along with MIT President Sally A. Kornbluth and University of Pennsylvania President Elizabeth Magill, will testify before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce about antisemitism on college campuses. The hearing, scheduled for December 5, comes in response to calls for action following the tensions sparked by Hamas' attack on Israel. Gay has faced criticism for Harvard's initial response and has since announced efforts to combat antisemitism on campus. This will be Gay's first official trip as Harvard's president to meet with members of Congress in Washington.
