Newsom eases California drought restrictions after recent storms.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has rolled back some drought restrictions while keeping others in place, following recent storms that have eased the state's dry spell. The Department of Water Resources will increase water deliveries to 75% of requested supplies this year, up from 5% last year, as a result of the storms. However, Newsom has maintained a state of emergency for all 58 counties and is continuing the ban on wasteful water uses. The governor has also preserved current emergency orders focused on groundwater, which is still struggling to recover.
