"U.S. Troops Face Challenges Amid Gridlock Over Ukraine Aid"
TL;DR
US Senator Chris Coons warns that without continued financial and military support for Ukraine, the US could face direct combat with Russia, emphasizing the need for a new $95 billion aid package. He urges bipartisan support from the House of Representatives, stating that investing in Ukraine is the best defense against Moscow. The Senate has approved the funding package, but it faces opposition in the House. Coons warns that failure to support Ukraine could lead to Russian aggression against NATO allies within the next three to five years.
