"Russia Detains Dual U.S. Citizen and Los Angeles Woman on Treason Charges"

A 33-year-old woman with dual Russian-American citizenship has been detained by Russian authorities on suspicion of treason for allegedly raising funds to support Ukraine in its defense against Russia's invasion. The woman is accused of providing financial assistance to Ukraine and participating in public actions in support of the Kiev regime. If convicted, she could face 12 to 20 years in prison and property confiscation. This arrest follows previous detentions of foreign- and dual-nationals in Russia, including U.S. national Robert Romanov Woodland and dual Russian American reporter Alsu Kurmasheva. The U.S. Embassy in Moscow and the State Department have not yet commented on the situation.
