US increases military aid to Ukraine in ongoing conflict with Russia.

Russia's ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, criticized the new $325 million U.S. military aid package for Ukraine, saying it pushes Washington deeper into the "abyss" of the conflict. The package includes munitions for air defence systems, ammunition and vehicles, and comes as Ukraine is shaping its long-expected counter-offensive. Antonov stated that no amount of weapons or mercenaries will be able to turn the tide in the course of Russia's special military operation.
