Alec Baldwin's Legal Battle Over 'Rust' Shooting Settled and Sealed.

The terms of a proposed settlement agreement in the wrongful death lawsuit against Alec Baldwin and other film crewmembers linked to the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film "Rust" will be sealed from public view to protect the privacy of Hutchins' 10-year-old son, who benefits from the settlement. The judge ruled that the right to privacy overrides obligations for public disclosure. Baldwin and other defendants have disputed accusations that they were lax with safety standards. Baldwin and weapons supervisor Hannah Gutierrez-Reed are also confronting criminal charges of involuntary manslaughter in separate court proceedings and have pleaded not guilty.
