Felony-warrant suspect dies by self-inflicted gunshot after Omaha barricade

An Omaha man with felony warrants forced a homeowner out of a west Omaha residence at gunpoint, prompting a three-hour barricade. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot inside the home, the homeowner escaped unharmed, and investigators from OPD, the Nebraska State Patrol and Papillion Police are treating the case as an in-custody death as they continue probing the incident.
