At least one large tornado struck Greenwood, Indiana, tearing apart structures including houses and apartment complexes, and causing natural fixtures like trees to be broken or torn from their roots. Emergency responders were dispatched to affected neighborhoods, and nearby residents took footage of the aftermath. In Martin County, a person was confirmed dead after a tornado caused a house to collapse, and their partner was injured and airlifted to a hospital. Other parts of Indiana also suffered structural and natural damage, as well as scattered power loss. The National Weather Service is continuing to survey the storm's impact.
