"Assessing Biden's State of the Union Address: Red Flags, Economy, and Peacemaking"
TL;DR
A CNN poll on President Joe Biden's State of the Union address showed a 65% net positive overall reaction, but also raised red flags when compared to past surveys, with a consistent downtrend in positive reactions since 2021. Journalists and pundits noted that the 65% positive view was lower than any such speech CNN has polled in the past quarter-century, and the 35% "very" positive review was effectively tied with Biden's speech last year for the lowest on record.
