Biden Vetoes Solar Panel Tariff Blockade

President Joe Biden has vetoed a resolution that would have halted a Commerce Department rule temporarily suspending tariffs on solar panels imported from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Biden wrote that the passage of the resolution "bets against American innovation." He added that the US is on track to increase domestic solar panel manufacturing capacity eight-fold by the end of his first term, but that production will not come online overnight. This is the third veto of Biden's presidency.
