"Georgia Representative Pushes for Censure of Rashida Tlaib"

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced a resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib over her criticism of Israel, accusing her of "anti-Semitic activity" and "sympathizing with terrorist organizations." Tlaib, the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, responded by calling the resolution "unhinged" and "deeply Islamophobic." In response, another Democratic colleague introduced a counter resolution to censure Greene for her history of hate speech, anti-Semitic rhetoric, and conspiracy theories. Both resolutions must be considered on the House floor within two legislative days.
