House rebukes Trump over Iran conflict with symbolic war-powers vote
TL;DR
The Democratic-led House passed a 215-208 war-powers resolution rebuking President Trump over the Iran conflict, directing removal of U.S. forces from hostilities unless Congress authorizes war, a largely symbolic measure that four Republicans joined Democrats; the same session also advanced a discharge petition to bring Ukraine aid to the floor, signaling momentum for both measures even as the Senate and a presidential veto loom.
