However, the agents' accounts indicate that the laptop was mostly an afterthought to the reams of text messages, emails, and other evidence that agents gathered from Hunter Biden's cloud data. The agents also accused the Justice Department prosecutors overseeing the Hunter Biden investigation of inappropriate conduct, leading to key evidence expiring because of the statute of limitations.
