President Joe Biden won the New Hampshire Democratic primary despite not being on the ballot, as enough voters wrote his name in. The dispute arose because New Hampshire refused to move its vote as ordered by the Democratic National Committee, resulting in the state being stripped of its 24 delegates. Democratic congressman Dean Phillips challenged Biden, but Biden won with 53% of the vote. Phillips, a moderate and wealthy member of Congress, spent over $5m on ads in the state, while Biden spent $156,000.
