Jolly Declines Debates in Florida Governor Race
TL;DR
Democratic nominee David Jolly says he will not participate in any debates with Republican Byron Donalds in Florida’s governor’s race, citing the campaign’s tenor and Donalds’ alleged misinformation; Florida would be the first governor’s race there without a debate since 1974, as Donalds’ camp had signaled three debates while Jolly’s team discussed scheduling two other debates.
