"Katie Porter Alleges Billionaire Interference in California Senate Primary Loss"
TL;DR
After losing to Rep. Adam Schiff in the California Senate primary, candidate Katie Porter suggested that the race was rigged by billionaires and special interests, despite her own acceptance of big donor money. She claimed that her progressive platform threatened the establishment, but ultimately failed to win a single county. Porter's allegations echo former President Trump's claims of a "rigged" election, and she has called for leaders who cannot be bought and push for government accountability.
