Longtime NY lawmaker Eliot Engel, ex-Foreign Affairs chair, dies at 79

Former New York Democrat Eliot Engel, who chaired the House Foreign Affairs Committee and helped shape policy on Kosovo and the Trump impeachment, died at 79 from complications of Parkinson’s disease.
