Majority of Americans Support Access to Abortion Pill, Including Republicans: Polls

A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll shows that a majority of Americans oppose laws banning medication abortion and disagree with judges overturning FDA approval of prescription drugs. The poll also found that there is little-to-no confidence in the Supreme Court, with 6 in 10 respondents saying they have not very much or no confidence in the institution. Additionally, two-thirds of respondents believe that Supreme Court justices should only serve for a limited time, not for lifetime appointments.
