Missouri Supreme Court weighs ballot fate of gerrymandered map

Missouri’s Supreme Court heard arguments on whether a referendum to overturn the state’s gerrymandered congressional map can appear on the November ballot, a ruling that could decide Kansas City’s representation in Congress and whether the new map can be used in the election, as Secretary of State Denny Hoskins blocked the measure and activists collected more than 305,000 signatures amid a national partisan fight.
