Netanyahu Pins US Support Decline on Social Media

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu told 60 Minutes that the decline in U.S. backing for Israel is largely driven by social media, calling it the eighth front of the war. He cited a Pew survey showing about 60% of U.S. adults view Israel unfavorably amid the Gaza war (up roughly 20 points in four years) and acknowledged that, despite Israel’s efforts to protect civilians, the war has damaged its image. He also blamed foreign manipulation of social media for worsening perceptions and said Israel has not done a good job with propaganda.
