Despite leading New Hampshire Democrats' opposition to President Joe Biden's plan to strip the state of its first-in-the-nation primary status, Democrats in the state are falling in line behind Biden's reelection bid. However, they are on track to blow the DNC's June deadline to change the law that requires New Hampshire to hold its presidential primary a week before any other state, because Republicans who control the Legislature and governor's office won't do it. If New Hampshire goes rogue and goes first, that puts Biden in an awkward spot.
