"Pence's Refusal to Endorse Trump: A Constitutional Stand"

Former Vice President Mike Pence stated that his decision not to endorse former President Trump's reelection campaign is based on Trump's actions on Jan. 6, as well as his departure from conservative principles such as fiscal responsibility, sanctity of life, and American leadership. Pence also cited Trump's recent policy reversals as contributing to his decision. While Pence forgave Trump for pressuring him during the election certification, he emphasized the importance of upholding the constitution and declined to directly answer whether he would vote for Trump.
