Rep. Dan Newhouse, one of the last House Republicans to vote for Trump's impeachment, announced he will not seek re-election in 2024, citing gratitude for his service and looking forward to new ways to serve. His decision comes as the district remains solidly Republican, with a primary race involving Trump-backed candidates and others criticizing his impeachment vote.
