Ron DeSantis Raises Funds and Makes Waves in California

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis attended a private breakfast event at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento to raise money for his GOP presidential campaign. The event was hosted by real estate developer Steven Eggert and his wife, Pamela, and cost $3,300 per person. DeSantis is trailing former President Donald Trump in the Republican primary in California. This is DeSantis' first visit to California since his administration admitted to transporting 36 migrants from the Southern Border in Texas and dropping them off, unannounced, in Sacramento. California Attorney General Rob Bonta is investigating whether criminal or civil action may be taken against DeSantis and his administration.
