Texas county trims polling sites ahead of midterms, drawing voting-rights backlash

Tarrant County, Texas’ third-most populous county, voted to reduce Election Day polling locations by 92 (about 30% less than 2022), leaving 224 sites for 1.3 million voters. Voters can cast ballots at any site.
