The Uncertainty of the 2024 Presidential Election.

The conventional wisdom about American politics has been upended since 2016, but after the 2020 election, many believed that normalcy had returned. However, recent developments suggest that this impression was short-lived. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, once seen as a potential Republican frontrunner for the 2024 presidential election, has lost ground to Donald Trump in the polls. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden's approval rating is at a record low, and a majority of Democrats do not want him to run for re-election. With the Federal Reserve continuing to hike interest rates and Biden's re-election pitch looking similar to 2020, it is becoming easy to imagine a second Trump term.
