TN GOP Rep. Resigns After Violating Harassment Policy

Tennessee House Republican, Scotty Campbell, resigned from his position after violating the General Assembly's workplace discrimination and harassment policy. The violation was discovered by an ethics subcommittee, which found that Campbell had sexually harassed at least one legislative intern. Campbell initially refused to resign from his Republican caucus leadership position, but ultimately resigned from the General Assembly. This is not the first time a Tennessee lawmaker has resigned over harassment allegations.
