Trump Extends Inauguration Invite to China's Xi Amid Uncertainty
TL;DR
Donald Trump is personally inviting foreign leaders, including some from countries with strained relations with the U.S., to his inauguration, aiming to make it a global event. Invitations have been extended to leaders like China's Xi Jinping, though he is not expected to attend, and others such as El Salvador's Nayib Bukele and Italy's Giorgia Meloni. This outreach signals Trump's interest in reengaging with international peers and poses security challenges for the U.S. Secret Service.
