What a Trump 2024 Victory Could Mean for America and the World
TL;DR
Donald Trump's potential return to the White House raises concerns about an authoritarian administration focused on "revenge" against Democrats and perceived enemies. Experts warn that Trump may pursue hardline policies, including mass deportations and weaponizing the Department of Justice, while filling his administration with loyalists. The impact of his presidency will depend on the composition of Congress, with a Republican majority potentially enabling a slide towards authoritarianism. Trump's influence over the Republican Party and his controversial past actions, such as the January 6 Capitol riot, further complicate the political landscape.
