FBI Director Wray Raises Alarm on Historic Antisemitism and Terrorism Threats

FBI Director Christopher Wray warns of "historic" levels of antisemitism in the U.S., with the Jewish community being uniquely targeted by various terrorist organizations. Antisemitism has been steadily rising, fueled by far-right extremists and white supremacists. Following the Hamas-Israel war, there has been a spike in both antisemitic and Islamophobic attacks. The Anti-Defamation League reported a 388% increase in antisemitic incidents, while the Council on American-Islamic Relations documented a rise in biased incidents. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas also acknowledged the increase in threats against Jewish, Muslim, and Arab American communities.
