FAA approves SpaceX's Starship for historic orbital test launch.

The Federal Aviation Administration has granted SpaceX the license to launch its giant Starship rocket from Texas on a first test flight as early as next week. The 394-foot rocket will not have any people or satellites aboard and will be discarded in the Gulf of Mexico and the spacecraft into the Pacific. The license is valid for five years and SpaceX has met all requirements, including safety and environmental.
