Tragic Discovery: Bodies of Young Siblings Found in California River

A 4-year-old boy who was swept away in a California river with his 8-year-old sister over the weekend was found dead on Monday, a day after searchers recovered the girl's body. The children had entered the water with their mother and her adult friend about a mile down from Pine Flat Dam while trying to climb onto a specific rock. Neither child was wearing a life jacket. The Kings and San Joaquin rivers have been closed to recreational users since March due to hazardous conditions.
