Jurors overwhelmed by Lindsay Clancy case as brutal details surface

Jurors in Lindsay Clancy’s Massachusetts murder trial are being excused at a high rate due to the case’s brutal nature. As jury selection progresses, 10 women and 7 men have been seated from a pool that will total 18 jurors (12 to serve on the verdict). More than 250 prospective jurors have been excused since Monday. Clancy, a wheelchair-bound former nurse, is accused of killing her three children in 2023 after a suicide attempt; the defense contends postpartum psychosis and an insanity defense, while prosecutors argue she was lucid and planned the killings.
