Manhunt Widens: Blount County Sheriff Increases Reward and Boosts Search Presence

The manhunt for 42-year-old Kenneth DeHart, accused of fatally shooting a Blount County sheriff's deputy and injuring another during a traffic stop in eastern Tennessee, has led to an increased reward of over $80,000 for information leading to his arrest. Warrants have been issued for DeHart for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and felon in possession of a firearm. The suspect's brother and girlfriend have also been arrested on accessory charges, and law enforcement continues their search efforts while mourning the loss of Deputy Greg McCowan.
