Tragic Death on Grand Canyon Day Hike

A 36-year-old woman from Indiana died while attempting to hike from the Grand Canyon rim to the Colorado River and back in a day. Park rangers responded to a report of an unresponsive hiker on the Bright Angel Trail, but resuscitation efforts failed.
