Canada's Wildfire Smoke Clears, US Air Quality Improves.

Air quality has improved along the East Coast of the US after a smokey haze from Canada's wildfires caused widespread air quality concerns earlier this week. However, some areas in the Midwest will still have poor air quality. Meanwhile, Puerto Rico and South Texas are under heat alerts with heat index temperatures expected to reach over 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Parts of East Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas are also expecting severe thunderstorms that could unleash damaging winds and hail.
