"Chicago Area Braces for Heavy Snowstorm and Wintry Weather Advisory"

A winter weather advisory has been issued for much of the Chicago area as the first snowstorm of the season is expected to bring up to 6 inches of snow by Wednesday morning. The snow is forecasted to begin Monday evening and continue into Tuesday, with northern and western suburbs likely to experience heavier snowfall. Additionally, a second snowstorm is expected towards the end of the week, bringing more snow and cold temperatures to the region.
