Strong winds carried dust from the San Luis Valley to Colorado Springs, causing a blowing dust advisory due to low visibility and hazardous driving conditions. Another advisory will be in effect for some areas in southern Colorado on Tuesday. The National Weather Service issues dust advisories to warn people, especially those sensitive to dust, to stay indoors when there's a lot of dust outside.
