Halloween Chill Gives Way to Weekend Warmth in D.C.-area Forecast

The D.C.-area is in for a frightfully chilly Halloween as a cold front sweeps through, bringing temperatures in the upper 40s to mid-50s and blustery winds. Lows could dip to the upper 20s in the outer suburbs, but temperatures will bounce back into the 60s by the weekend. Trick-or-treaters can expect temperatures in the 40s with breezy conditions. The coldest day of the week will be Wednesday, with highs in the middle 40s to lower 50s and wind chills making it feel even colder. However, by the weekend, temperatures will warm up to the middle 60s to near 70 with partly to mostly sunny skies.
