Lake Effect Snow: Winter Weather Advisories and Arctic Blast Updates

Winter weather advisories have been issued along the Lake Michigan shoreline, with up to seven inches of snow forecasted in some areas. Residents in Allegan and Van Buren counties could see four to seven inches of snow, while Ottawa and Muskegon counties may expect one to two inches. Mason and Oceana counties are forecasted to receive two to five inches, and Leelanau, Benzie, Grand Traverse, and Manistee may see three to seven inches. Berrien County near the Indiana border remains under a winter storm warning with an additional one to three inches of snow expected. Travel conditions are expected to be difficult due to low visibility and snow-covered roads.
